AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE! This place is now known as CAROTHER'S AUTO REPAIR AND SERVICE. Has also done business as Ted's Auto Repair,Ted's Auto Service, etc., etc.... These people have had my van for over ONE MONTH! Told me I needed a part rebuilt which would only take 2 weeks. Turns out it went to their "parts distributor" and sat there for 2 weeks, He shipped to a place in PA. now nobody knows what happened to it. Fixed & On the Road – I've had a few repairs at Ted's Auto, mostly small stuff... lights, brakes, and such,and they've always treated me right,courtesous and fast. A real mechanic. – As a woman I feel that every time I go to a mechanics shop, I get marked as an "easy" target. I have been to quite a few shops in Nashville & Franklin, TN and with few exceptions this has happened. I schedule an appointment for service and get back a laundry list of "needed repairs". Friendly and courteous. Fair prices, great work. Good communication towards the customer, as far as informing me of different options for my budget. Will recommend their services to friends.
I try to do all the work I can on my own car, but every now & then there is work that has to be done that I don't have the tools or know how to accomplish. I've been to quite a few shops in the Franklin & South Nashville area. Thus far Ted's Auto has been my best experience. GREAT SERVICE _ HONEST AND FAIR. – Easy going and well mannered. I've lived in Middle Tennessee most of my life, and do a lotta business in the Franklin area.Never knew about Ted's until I had my pickup truck throw belt while driving into town. I was able to make it to a nearby service station, and saw the sign for Ted's. Thought "Well how about that!".
