She was very thorough took time and asked many questions. I felt she was really listening and not believing me about my symptoms even though they were not present at the exam because of pain meds I had taken.
Dr. King takers her time with you, if she doesn't know an answer she will go get a book and look it up right in front of you. Easy to talk to. Sends very thorough notes about your condition(s) to specialists she recommends before you see the specialist. Small office so staff and Dr. King knows who you are.
I was a patient of Dr. King for many years. At first I was happy - really with the nurse practitioners who were the ones I really saw for care. But this office has slipped over the past few years. Results are not communicated. New staff is very difficult. Routine prescriptions like birth control are difficult to refill even inside a year. No warning is given for shifts in insurance provider status, even in the middle of treatments that didn't have to be disrupted by the fact. Find someone else.
Business response:
Hello - Thank you for your review. We would love the opportunity to speak with you further about your concerns, if you would like. Do you mind sending me your contact information including phone number and name to katieborders@texashealth.org. Thank you, Katie
Sometimes I have to wait to see her but Dr. King is absolutely worth the wait. Her staff got me in when I had the flu and she got me taken care of.
Dr. Caroline King is a very kind and compassionate physician. She has taken care of my family for years and I trust her completely. She always makes time for my questions and I never feel rushed during my appointment. The office staff is friendly and knows me by name, which makes me feel like I am at home.
I have been a patient for two years never met the doctor. Recently changed nurse practitioners. The new one would not listen to my current issue. Only wanted to recommend a colonoscopy because it is time for a routine check However that is not why I was there. My issue did not pertain to a bowl problem. She would not listen to me so I left without treatment after waiting one hour past my appointment time
My wife and I recently had the most horrid experiences with Dr Caroline King of Denton, TX. I would rate my 50 years of received medical care as a 4.5. A 1.0 may be too generous for Dr King and her office. Many errors in care. Petty! Non existent communication. Questions discouraged. Bad attitudes. A toxic health care environment.
Business response:
Hello, I regret to hear about you and your wife's negative experience and would like to have a patient advocate contact you. Can you please email me your contact information at katieborders@texashealth.org Thank you, Katie
3 visits and never have seen the doctor, only the RN. Unfriendly, judgemental staff. Confidence in care is low. Have to hound them with multiple calls just to get test results. Will not be back.
I Love Dr King. She takes the time to talk to you. When I thought I was going crazy she ran some test which was frustrating but necessary. Then she found out what was wrong and gave me the proper meds and things are great now.
