We have stayed at the Carolina Hotel a few times and this last stay was very disappointing. We arrived at 3pm and our room was not ready, so we walked the grounds until check in at 4pm. The room was still not ready at 4pm, we ended up waiting until 5:50 pm before our room was ready which left us only 10 min to get ready for our dinner reservations. The front desk was not helpful or sympathetic to the situation. For the price of the hotel room, I expect more and not sure we will be going back again.
