My wife and I went there for what we wanted to be our anniversary dinner. We were seated promptly and ordered our appetizer. The appetizer was the best thing about our dinner. The steaks we ordered had no flavor. My wife ordered the filet mingnon and wanted it medium. It came out rarer than rare so we sent it back. When it came back it was still rare....not even medium rare, but blood dripping rare. The manager removed her meal and the appetizer from our bill, but this is definitely a place we wont be back to.
My husband and I decided to try Carne last night (Friday) for our anniversary. We were seated right away. Quickly ordered our drinks, an appetizer and our entrees. It took about 20 minutes for the Prosciutto Wrapped Mozzarella to show up. It was delicious! Unfortunately that would be the only thing we enjoyed. First time at Carne, although we had past it often, always saying "we have to try that place". My wife and I met up with our friends on a Sat eve, and we had a fantastic experience. From the appetizers to the steaks, to the chocolate cream pie, everything was delicious. The different martinis and mixed drinks were great to. We had great service by Hayden from beginning to end, and it's amazing how reasonable the prices are. Manager was very nice too, and was very engaged with the customers. The food was amazing. My husband and I took the ghost tour also.
I love it! The servers are always really nice and the food usually comes out quickly. They're drink deals are great and the food is always delicious. My only gripe was the bartender was a bit heavy handed with our drinks and didn't seem to know how to make a peach bellini which was annoying. Overall though the food is extremely reasonably priced and the staff is very accommodating. We'll definitely keep coming back
I've been wanting to try this place out for some time now. Heard both good and not so good. We were there late and a party of 5. Waiter was so so and atmostphere was set to almost like a sports bar with all the televisions set to sports. Not what I expected for this grand building. My Meal was fairly good but two other friends ordered the prime rib which were pretty bad. The other friends ordered a Cuban style steak which was very good and a chicken pot pie which was okay.
