I am new to Pittsburgh and very thankful I was introduced to Carmella's! It is already my favorite restaurant in Pburgh and I'm treated like family by the staff. From the wonderful food, drinks, clientele, staff, and decor, Carmella's got it going meticulously well!

Great tavern atmosphere. Really attentive service. Wild game dishes are their gimmick, but the dishes are not forced. The small plates menu is long and contains very tasty dishes.
First time here! It was absolutely wonderful. I would highly recommend the brunch. Looking forward to coming back for happy hour one evening. Carmella’s breakfast was delicious,peppered bacon, sausage, French toast, apple caramel French toast too. My whiskey � sour and Bill’s Bloody Mary was perfect.
Out of town visitors on Friday night. Carmella's is perfect combination of comfort, hospitality and great food. We ordered all over the menu and were very pleased with everything. And where can you find Elmer T Lee and Pappy Van Winkle in stock at the bar? Carmella's will be a regular stop when in the Burgh. Well done!!
Carmella's is my new favorite place; upscale, yet relaxed, it has a comfortable sophistication that makes it perfect for so many occasions. The food was outstanding and the staff was friendly and attentive. I will be back again very soon.
The 5☆ rating is based solely on my experience with the bartender and barstool seating. I can't attest to the cuisine or food presentation. As for drinks and spirits, an exceptional variety is available. Rivals the best NYC bars. I ordered whiskey sours and were on par with best whiskey sours in London. All fresh juices and the egg white to boot. That makes Carmellas Plates & Pints 5☆ rating well deserved! Next time I'm back in Pittsburgh...
