If you find yourself driving through cullman and looking at restaurants to eat at..Carltons might pop up on your map and you might be tempted to try it from all of the raging reviews. But sadly it falls very short of decent. The food was mediocre, bland, not worth the price at all. Lobster ravioli? More like bland, soupy, doughy cheese ravioli. Food and service are both excellent. I especially love the decor and how old five-panel doors are the booth tables.
My mom and I happened upon Carlton's accidentally today, decided to stop in since we were hungry, and were not disappointed! The food was delicious, the store is so beautiful, and the staff was really nice! Definitely recommend.
I love the old barn wood ceiling and all of the tables that are made out of doors and on top of that the food is delicious you can't ask for any better service.Linda Voss
The food is excellent but service is poor. I ordered my lunch today and when I arrived to pick it up, the order was never placed by the waitress. Needless to say I went without lunch, as I did not have another 20 minutes to wait.
