Was a patient for years but due to a terrible experience my husband had I will be leaving this office too. He called in reporting tooth pain and he was referred to a specialist for root canal. To our surprise he was charged $400 for just a consult as this specialist is not within our network. When we reached out to be referred to another in network provider since the treatment would be over $2k they refused! Dr Thylin was highly recommended by a family member. I am 77 years old and have been to a lot of dentists over the years. Dr Thylin made a three-piece bridge and a veneer for me as well as a night guard. His level of expertise is exceptional and the staff were very kind and helpful. He has a 3-D printer and he was able to make my night guard and I was able to pick it up the next day.

My first visit and initial experience with Carlsbad Coastal Dental was excellent. Everyone is very polite, accommodating and professional. My exam was comfortable and they were very communicative about each step in their process. I’m very pleased with them as my families new dentist so far.
