Great Food, Wonderful Service – My fiancee and i had a wonderful experience at Carlos's. We live in La Grange, il, and had to make quite a journey to get there... but it was worth it. Hey, guys come to La Grange. We were voted best downtown by chicago magazine, and we are a community of restaurant lovers! We would welcome you, support, and embrace you!
Terrific and Friendly Service – We ate at Carlos on Halloween night. Our first impression was the bowl of candy and Carlos and all the wait staff taking time to talk to the neighborhood kids while they came in trick or treating from the Highland Park neighborhood. First class dining experience – This was our third time to Carlos in the last two years and it is better everytime we go. The menu was seasonly different each visit including items I havent even heard of before but left me wanting more of all of it. The lamb was to die for and I have never seen a wine list even close to as good. I didnt even know service could be taken to this level. You have to Go!!!! – By far one of the best experiances I ever had. Everything was GREAT!!!!! They are such nice people. You must try it.
WOW! – I have been to Carlos three times this year and every time I have had the best service and food. The biggest thing I like here is that you feel welcome, the staff smile, anticipate your needs and are very attentive. The food is incredible and Carlos walked table to table throughout the evening checking quality and if the people were happy. A wonderful romantic evening every time.
disappointed – what a let down this place was. chef carlos definitely was not up to par.
chef ramiro is the best in the city – As always the dinner there was beyond perfect. The chef has a very romantic style. He has learned a lot from the former chefs, but made it his own.
