Very disappointed
I went to Dr Lavernia for a 2nd opinion about a shoulder injury. He and his staff were very professional, competent and caring. I felt like I was a regular patient even though it was my first visit. The office is modern, bright, and fully equipped with x-rays on site.
I rarely leave reviews, but It has now been 10 years since Dr. Lavernia replaced my left Hip. I had never even broken a bone or had any type of surgery until then, notwithstanding a very active life, including many contact sports and long distance runs.The surgery and scar were impeccable. Many patients take up to 6 weeks of rehab in many countries. I followed his and his team's directives to the letter, recuperating at a beautiful 1 story home belonging to a family member. Concerns of the entire staff for my well being
Everyone in this office is friendly and efficient. On this visit, there was no waiting. I was seen right away and treated very well and respectfully by both the staff and the doctor. Dr. Lavernia did my bilateral total hip replacement in 2000 and changed my life. He is by far the best doctor I have ever dealt with. He listens, he’s decisive and most of all, he is incredibly talented. He is simply the best!

I had put off knee replacement until the pain prevented me from performing many normal daily activities and most of the activities I had moved to the Keys to enjoy. Dr. Carlos Lavernia provided me with a very thorough explanation of the repair methodology(left knee replacement) and recovery activities needed to restore the use of my knee. His work was exemplary as well as his continued followup post surgery. I am currently back to boating, fishing, diving, hiking, and work with no constraints. Thank you, Dr. Lavernia
Pain in both knees. After exams and Xray Dr Lavernia recommended total knees replacement.
Excellent visit--bright, clean offices: friendly staff. DR. Laverne was so pleasant and was generous with his time.
