Wedding Cake Went to my brother-in-laws wedding a year ago and the wedding cake was made at Carlo's. It was a 3 tier red velvet with rolled fondant. Cake looked okay until we tasted it. Just the look on the bride's face when the groom placed a piece of the cake in her mouth. She told me first that it was horrible. Tasted like bland lard. I was stunned at how horrible it was. Shame on Carlo's. What a horrible piece of work...
hopefully good Well I watch the show very time its on I've read some of the reviews am still willing to take a ride out there to try their pasteries I love to see the cakes he makes on t.v. and hopefully give a good review if I love what I get from their bakery.
Best bakery in town Anytime I need a special dessert this is the go to spot. Their Italian pastries are delicious. My children actually request the cheesecake for their birthday cakes! Great variety but its a little bit pricey. One of the bakers is well know nationally for wedding cakes and they have been featured in numerous magazines.
Best Italian Pastries Whenever we have a holiday or special occasion, I am required to bring some of Carlos pastries with me. The have a tremendous assortment of pastries, cakes and pies. Their cannoli's are to die for. The line can be a little long at times, and there is only street parking but well worth it.
Good pastries, BAD service I rushed over to Carlo's Bakery tonight after work to purchase a birthday cake for work tomorrow. I heard from many that their pastries are excellent. As per their website and advertisements, they are open until 8pm on weekdays. I arrived at 7:50pm to find the door locked and the staff putting pastries away. Nicole My daughter like many is in love with Carlo's Bakery and follows the show religiously. Watches Kitchen Boss, We recently saw Buddy on tour. The show was great! She is turning 13 this year and all she wants her Birthday cake from His bakery. Turns out you can't order a specialty Cake over the phone. You have do a consultation.
