Rice was dried out, clumps of dark brown appeared to be from sitting under the warmer, beans taste like canned beans, pastor tacos way too sweet, too much pineapple. Could hear cook in background repeatedly asking wait staff "is the rice still good" Very disappointed. Totally not worth almost $30 . Could have went to Eva's for much better food , same price.
I was very happy to hear that there was a restaurant that actually served Sonoran Hot Dogs. Im spoiled having Guedo Canelos Sonoran Hot Dogs. The one i received was old buns..reg buns and dry hot dog it was brown...very shy on the beans. .. Even the swap meet has great dogs. I havent been back since
I love Carlito's. Have been here twice so far but have driven up from Tucson to eat here 4 times (twice they were closed). Staff is always great and food is excellent. Pardon my french, but you can tell when a place "gives a shit" in regards to their food. Carlito's gives a shit. Best mexican food I have had while living in La/OC, Phoenix or Tucson. A++++
They were a bit busy but the owners were very polite and catering. The food was good and it had that down home Mexican feel. We'll definitely be back.
This is a great place with the most friendly people that actually care about the customer the best real authentic Mexican food I've had in a long time service was extremely excellent they even took the time to say hello and asked us how we were doing
