Rude and Unprofessional Two visits. The first when I was looking for a dress. They completely did not listen to what I wanted. I was shown some pretty tacky dresses that were the opposite of what I wanted. Second experience. I was looking for a specific bolero to go with the dress I purchased at another shop. The problem with the original shop is that they didn't carry the brand that corresponds to the jacket I wanted. Carlisles was listed as having the brand I wanted so I went in. There were two sales people and no customer... read more

WATCH OUT We went to Carlisle's this weekend and had the WORST experience ever! I would not wipe my butt with a dress from that shop. The sales girl was SO mean and was so rude and arrogant! I bought my dress there a few years ago so I thought it would be a good place to go for my sister's dress.. DO NOT GO- Unless you want to be interrogated and treated like a five year old by total tanned up clubby wench that totally was hungover from late night at some trashy bar in the strip. My brother has an exgirlfriend that is a tota... read more

Bad and sold my info! This was the worst experience wedding shopping I had. I only went there to see a certain designer of a dress that they said they had. When I got there they only had 1 of their dresses and they said they had the dress for over 6 years just sitting there. You can tell their dresses are older dresses and they don't have a good selection. On top of they, they are rude. I did try on a dress and when I said I didn't like it, she left me in the dressing room to try to get out of it myself. I had to go out and ... read more

Cash required for alterations! After visiting a number of bridal salons, my daughter had a good experience at Carlisles and bought her bridal dress. It was reasonably priced and the consultant correctly ordered a size smaller than what my daughter usually wears. What people need to know is that alteration appointments are only made on Friday's and alterations costs are expected to be paid in CASH. This just didn't feel right.

Great store They have the most beautiful wedding dresses. I love the selection the staff and basically everything about it. My friend got her wedding gown there and I had to get my bridesmaid dress there. The cost was average but the seamstress and the service was wonderful. I am very thankful that the bride to be had such a good experience and more importantly so did I. Our dresses came in in a timely fashion and they look beautiful. They also have wonderful accessories to go with the gowns.

Totally Unsatisfied Due to the timing of my wedding, I had to buy a dress "off the rack". I found a dress that I liked but it was several sizes too big. I was assured that the alterations would not be a problem. The first several times I went back for fittings it still wasn't even wearable. I finally had to convince them to basically rebuild the whole top of the dress the weekend before my wedding. When I finally took it home, it was at least wearable, but barely- the bottom was still too big, and the top was SO tight that I... read more

Unprofessional/Stressful Experience Brides Beware! Carlisle's will be kind and caring to get your business, but when there's a problem, the owner is nasty and unprofessional. Bride fell in love with a dress at a bridal show. We were measured and ordered the bridal gown, a mother of the bride gown and a mother of the groom gown. All came in too small! Mother of the bride had to have a gown off the rack altered as there was no time to reorder. Owner offered to add material to the bridal gown which was not acceptable as it woul... read more
