I was admitted to Proctor for about 5 days. I’m going to spare all of the details, and there are a few things that weren’t so great. But I would just like to say that the night charge nurse Lauren and day nurse Brittany really held me together during what was a relatively traumatic experience for me. Being in the hospital is hard for anyone and the right kind of care can make such a huge difference. Proctor has some really magnificent staff. Julia, Marissa and Marcus were also just wonderful. This hospital is terrible don't even need one star I'm sorry I end doing feedback a good review for what I thought methodist because it said carle health didn't mean to give them a good review they sent me home with infection all in my stomach with what could have killed me I was in such agony in pain went to methodist they saved my life people don't go here or to osf
Don't go here. Took an ambulance from urgent care to this ER screaming with spinal pain. They medicated me for the pain but then discharged me even when I couldn't stand or tolerate sitting up in a wheelchair. I begged to be admitted and they said no. They looked at an MRI from two years ago without obtaining new scans and did not believe how bad I felt. My husband drove me to a different ER where I was admitted for a week, as my symptoms by then had only worsened and required a catheter for several days. I'm still recoverin... read more
Horrible ER experience with my daughter. She was severely dehydrated from non stop vomiting. They refused her fluids. Instead gave her multiple drugs including Ativan and volume. For vomiting and dehydration?! She was there for several hours and finally sent home still dehydrated without fluids. Also gave her a water bottle with electrolytes, of which she could not keep down.
