I've been seeing Neurosurgeons for 20 years now because of extreme spinal stenosis. .I've done the injections of anesthetic steroid capsules, which provide temporary relief, but the only procedure that has lasted was a Foraminotomy in my thoracic vertebra by a different doctor, which was done four years ago. No thoracic pain at all in that time since.. I requested the same procedure for my L3, and this Doctor actually prescribed physical therapy. Yoga isn't going to fix the sciatica stenosis, and nerve pain. He is listed as ... read more
Dr. Noe is the only Pain Management physician that I have used that seems to really care about my issues and what plan of care we can follow to take care of the problem that I am experiencing. He listens and takes the time to put me at ease with the entire situation. I trust him completely with the decisions that he makes for my care.
After a severe malfunction in my pump program, Dr Noe visited while making hospital rounds. He helped with restoring the pump and referred to a great surgeon who helped with poorly installed hardware. Additionally, Dr Noe referred me to an incredible psychologist who instructed a group of patients in mindfulness and meditation as well as a physical therapist. All wonderful people working together at UTSW and encouraging very positive, creative, life changing therapy!
Listens and acts quickly with concern
Walked in for 5 minutes and looked at the computer most of it...then referred me to the pain management program on the UT campus
This dr is a nitemare. Never bothered to even look at my records, ct scans, mris, etc. I’m a disabled woman with many spinal surgeries, wasn’t even asking for any kind of opioids, he was rude, dismissive, uninformed and flat out discriminatory. Told me take self relaxation and accupuncture classes at his clinic, I laughed, severe pain for 35 years, I had done just that many times. Bad medicine.
My husband was seen for the 2nd time today by Dr. Noe. (But we won't be going back!) He was specifically sent to Dr. Noe to receive nerve ablation from a botched hernia surgery last January. Both times we've been in Dr. Noe's exam room he is unable to answer our questions. He never did perform nerve ablation on my husband, and never seemed to know much about the subject. He's very accomplished at keeping his head in his computer! Worst ever bedside manner!! Don't go to him - waste of time
The worst Doctor Ibe ever visited. Why he is a Doctor i habe no idea. He juat tells you to see anther doctor and sends you to a pain program you cant get intonand is way to exspensive. Hes rude and doesnt car about you. He was the boggest waste of money Ive ever messed up on.
It’s hard to believe that Dr. Noe has been scored low by anyone. Don’t let that stop you from going to see him. He is a WONDERFUL doctor! His absolute passion is helping people with pain. If you’re only interested in pain pills then you’re not healthy enough to go see him. Pain pills aren’t the answer. If however, you truly want to heal emotionally and physically then you’ve arrived! I was so intimidated when I first met him. Just goes to show you that you can’t always listen to reviews sadly.
