My internist referred me to Dr Calendra for a colonoscopy. I left a message for scheduling for the procedure. After 12 days receiving no return call, I stopped in to schedule the procedure. The receptionist apologized, took my information and told me that scheduling would be in touch in 7 to 10 days. After 12 days I called the receptionist to ask for her help. When I came into the office I was greeted with a smile and a warm welcome. My appointment was for 1:15 and didn’t wait a second. Dr. Calandra greeted me personally and went to a room where we discussed my situation and concerns. I love this guy. He’s so down to earth. After my consultation, I mentioned my wife was having issues and that her appointment with him ( mid September) was maybe too far out. Dr Calandra is professional, thorough & has a great bedside manner. After my visit he recommended a scope of upper & lower GI to be thorough. At procedure he answered all my questions & calmed my fears. His staff is great too. Friendly, explain things b4 they do it & comforting. Glad I found a new GI doctor I can count on.
Dr. Calandra was great to deal with. He was willing to take time and answer all my questions, his staff was friendly and informative, and everyone made me feel very comfortable and well cared for.

I would recommend Dr Calandra . He was very kind and knowledgeable. I felt comfortable in the treatment plan he had made for me. I had a colonoscopy done. He came to see me after the procedure and explained everything. I was very happy with his care.
