Everyone was so nice and welcoming. This was my first time getting a colonoscopy and I was nervous but the nurses and doctor were very friendly and put me at ease. The whole process was explained to me and what to expect from start to finish. Dr. Calandra was easy going and really had a comforting demeanor.
He listens to you and pays attention to what you are saying.

I had my 6th colonoscopy at Uchicago/Advent Hinsdale Hospital. The prep worked very well and was much more palatable than having to take GoLYTELY. The whole process from check-in to being wheeled into the pre-procedure room went very smoothly. I briefly met Dr. Calandra prior to the procedure, and I found him to be very pleasant and professional. Dr. calandra was very professional. He went over my GI history and explained the colonoscopy prep and procedure completely. Very thorough!
