Makes colonoscopy an easy experience.
I had my 6th colonoscopy at Uchicago/Advent Hinsdale Hospital. The prep worked very well and was much more palatable than having to take GoLYTELY. The whole process from check-in to being wheeled into the pre-procedure room went very smoothly. I briefly met Dr. Calandra prior to the procedure, and I found him to be very pleasant and professional. Dr. calandra was very professional. He went over my GI history and explained the colonoscopy prep and procedure completely. Very thorough!

Professional attitude, procedure went as played with no issues. All employess were attentive and professional.
Dr Calandra listened to patient comment and answered in easy to understand language. He did not waste time, but he covered the patient's expressed concerns.
My internist referred me to Dr Calendra for a colonoscopy. I left a message for scheduling for the procedure. After 12 days receiving no return call, I stopped in to schedule the procedure. The receptionist apologized, took my information and told me that scheduling would be in touch in 7 to 10 days. After 12 days I called the receptionist to ask for her help. When I came into the office I was greeted with a smile and a warm welcome. My appointment was for 1:15 and didn’t wait a second. Dr. Calandra greeted me personally and went to a room where we discussed my situation and concerns. I love this guy. He’s so down to earth. After my consultation, I mentioned my wife was having issues and that her appointment with him ( mid September) was maybe too far out.
