Recently had a wonderful experience with Caris. They were available at a moment's notice to begin care for my father when he was discharged from the hospital on a late Friday afternoon. The nursing staff were kind and compassionate. The communication with the Caris staff was better than expected. Caris Hospice as been caring for my FIL since March and they are truly so good to him. Carol & Pam nurture him when we can't and professionally look out for changing health signs to keep us as prepared & educated as we can be during this emotional time. Recently, we were so touched that he was given a CD player to enjoy his favorite music. He is unable to navigate his iPhone and Spotify app, so this was a thoughtful gesture.
Do not recommend using this company. Communication was extremely poor, follow up was inconsistent if it actually even occurred, nurses did not show up when scheduled and decisions regarding care were made without providing information. This is my second experience with hospice and expected the same level of care as the first and am very disappointed in what has been provided.
Our family couldn't be more happy with our experience with the Caris team. They are so professional and caring.
I have worked alongside Caris for a long time. Their dedication to providing excellent care is their top goal! I would recommend them to anyone in need of end-of-life expertise and care. They are great!
