Walked in on a Saturday with a lacerated thumb needing stitches. The nurse met me in seconds, looked at the wound and walked me straight to procedure room. The staff was on it quickly and nicely. They let me do the paperwork later. They had me cleaned up, stitched, and ready to go in short order (I was there about 45 minutes total). They were very careful with pain management. Thank you. The ER would have been hundreds more for a simple injury. They have been good to my family.
called night before for an appointment, came in next morning, had 2 min wait time in lobby and they came and took me to examining room. Nurse was great, was in and out in 45 mins :)
Dr Daniel Burnes and the caring Staff are wonderful to Walk-In patients as well as Family Care Permanent Patients. As an Ex- ER Dr, Dr Burnes can diagnose and recommend treatment for areas that a regular General Practioner may miss. We have had several medical emergencies which were seen immediately and taken care of professionally. Follow-up phone calls, lab results and assistance with Insurance/HR/ Disability paperwork were professionally completed. I have been a patient there for about a year. I mostly see Keeshia Cloud CRNP. She goes to the ends of the earth to help and treat me. She always listens to me, explains everything, extremely honest and really cares. I am for sure she treats all her patients this way. The whole staff is awesome.
I was in this office a week ago and had lab work done and was told I would hear something in a day or two. I know at times it will take longer, but it's been a week and I still have not heard anything. When you call you get a recording instead of a person. When I have been there, which I have been 2 times, the staff is super nice, however I want my test results. I am stressing over not knowing what is wrong with me and having a bad heart stress is not good.
I like my doctor, Dr. Newlin and his staff. If I didn't, I would change doctors. I have been going to North Alabama Medical Care since Sept. 2003 right after they opened up. He and his staff are very nice, friendly and works with you. Yes you have to wait, it is a walk in clinic, but you have to wait if you go to a doctor with an appointment. Maybe not as long, but I like going there.
