They are not reliable. Caregivers don't show up and the Agency doesn't notify anyone and they never seem to be able to provide backup help. I Was told when we first hired them, that if a caregiver did not show, they would make sure the shift was covered even if it had to be a supervisor. Needless to say...they lied. They also let the caregivers change their hours whenever they wanted to and didn't bother to notify the client to see if it was OK. DON'T HIRE THEM. You will regret it.
Caregivers America should have their LICENSE REVOKED !!! THEY CARE ABOUT NO ONE...ESPECIALLY THEIR CLIENTS !!!
They don't answer the phone or clear their voicemail. Leave clients lay in bed in their own filth for days with out so much as a phone call. They don't even deserve a one star rating. By far the WORST agency I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with.
If giving less than one star was possible, I would do so. My mother was with this agency for years, since before it was purchased by this company. There is only one reason we stayed with them for so long and it was a couple amazing caregivers who went above and beyond. The management was beyond subpar, there was one person who really tried to make sure my mom had coverage but had to leave for a better opportunity.
