We’ll update to my last review so hopefully I save someone else’s beloved pet. After visiting another vet for a total bill of $172, we were told we may have to euthanize our 7 year old Labradoodle. We were given medicine to relieve the now 16lbs of water retention that I was told here that I could not get medication for just to be told to pay another $1200 for an ultrasound in Fishers cause it might be Addisons disease?? Never have I paid $1000 to not get a diagnosis only more suggested diagnostic testing to what might be wrong with my dog. The dog has seizures no adjustment to medicine or given any medication to give relief to the bloating. You look up phenobarbital side effects and Addison disease and they are almost the same. However the vet knows the dog is on phenobarbital so let’s suggest more testing for Addisons disease instead of adjusting the phenobarbital doses??I agree with everyone’s reviews they are nice at the clinic. Make sure you keep your receipts for all services rendered. In July, 2018 I paid $700 to board my dogs for two weeks then in March, 2019 I receive an invoice in the mail that I owe them for the boarding back in July,2018. I spoke with Mellisa St Claire and she informed me due to that I don’t have my receipt from almost a year ago I have to pay the $700 again or they will turn it into collections. Their doctors and staff are very compassionate and dedicated to seeing that your pet gets the best care and they are very friendly andHelpful with any concerns you may have with your animal. Best veterinary clinic in the area hands-down
Doctor M. Hobson and his staff are EXCELLENT, Compassionate, Caring Professionals. Our "Spanky" of 13 years was very ill, we had to say goodbye to him 4 days ago, this has been a very traumatic experience... Heartfelt thanks to the Doctor and his staff, they made a trying experience much more comforting and bearable... I highly recommend them to ANYONE, that would like the BEST OF CARE, for their pet!
My husband and I walked in on a Sunday morning with our dog in non-progressive labor. Although we had not brought her there before (we live an hour away), my parents have used CAH for 21 years with all of their dogs. I left a voicemail that we were on our way, and they were expecting us. The pups didn’t make it, but Dr. Hobson performed an emergency c-section and saved our girl’s life! We are forever grateful for this experience and will continue to drive the hour each way for all of our future needs.
For all my puppies, these are definitely puppy people. A very friendly, supportive, and knowledgeable group. I would definitely recommend Care Animal Hospital!
My dog 🐕 has been sick for days and even though it was a Saturday night when I called they got me right in and the dr came from out of town to help Jax all the girls were super nice and understanding
