Would not take Highmark or UPMC insurance. Would not take a cash paying customer. The receptionist hung up on me. Funny they sponsored my daughter's softball team. And I have done a bit of electrical work and installed an EV charger for Dr. Bourmand who is my neighbor.

Had to wait 5 months to get an appointment as a new customer… I have 3 children and was running 5-10mins late.. called to tell them to tell them… and they made me reschedule…. I understand running a tight ship… but really? You’re that tight you can’t accommodate 10mins for a family of 5 new clients…. Very arrogant!! If you don’t want my money I can spend it elsewhere…. Needless to say my family and I will be choosing a new eyecare service! Would suggest doing the same if you have a normal life.

As a new patient, I had to wait 5 months for an appt. Dr. Cardellino is very thorough and nice. There is a large selection of frames to choose from. However - it is now 4 weeks and I *still* do not have my new glasses! First time they arrived from lab (after 2 weeks), they did not have polished edges as ordered. Those were sent back. Second time they arrived (4 weeks total now), the prescription was not correct - apparently the staff ordered the *wrong* prescription for my lenses (for my computer glasses, not my everyday dis... read more

A wide variety of name brand frames. Prices are very reasonable. You do need an appointment for all services according to the sign on the door. The staff is knowledgeable and pleasant. From the front desk all the way through to picking out your glasses. Dr. Cardellino is a super optometrist, who really listens to your eye concerns. If by chance you had an exam elsewhere, they do except outside prescriptions from people so they can pick out some of the best glasses selection in the city.
