This man is a CROOK! He took our earnest money in February, even tried to get 5% from us but our realtor told him we would only give up to 3%. Today we found out that it looks like he skipped town with tens to hundreds of thousands of dollars in earnest check money. Avoid at all costs.
This has been the worst real estate transaction. People are so confident when giving up earnest money and this guy is ruining it for honest agents out there. He took multiple offers on one property (2544 Oak Park, Berwyn) and asked for high amounts of earnest money. I am so disappointed with the fact that he did this to a numerous amount of people.
