Extremely unsafe for our family! Took our vehicle in for oil change and to have bumper to bumper check just making sure all is safe for us to drive 15 hours away for an upcoming trip. Also, been noticing a noise and some pulling when turning left so we had them check that out too. $1800 later they said all is good and safe for you guys to take your long trip. Charging for services not completed and not standing behind parts or labor. Terrible customer service. Do not recommend using these people!

I own a 2013 Ford Escape. I brought it in to the McHenry, IL location a couple years ago and told them I was experiencing coolant loss. I had no visible leaks on the ground, but at least once every couple weeks, my car would suddenly say "coolant low" and overheat while I was driving. The mechanics would look at the engine and say, "There is no leak. But this model just burns through coolant like crazy. It's totally normal because of the turbo engine. It just guzzles coolant." The new owner of Car-X in Eagan, Minnesota, mistreated my elderly senior citizen father. He is 70 years old and lives on social security. He didn't comprehend that he was supposed to move the car from your parking lot. He had an arrangement with previous owner that he'd flip or sell the car. The vehicle that the guest is referring to had been in our Car-X lot for a year. The key went with the owner a year ago after we did our diagnosis. Multiple agreements were made by the owner that it would be removed. However, no effort was made to fix or remove it. We notified the owner last month if the vehicle was not removed, it would be towed from our lot We never charged the guest a storage fee for the time their car sat in our lot. Horrible horrible customer service.. I would never deal with these people ever again.. I made an appointment for 12pm. My appointment was made a week ago for this day. I called to verify everything and was told they don’t schedule appointments at 12. Was told they let corporate know two times to remove the 12 slot due to lunch breaks are given at that time.
