Traveled about an hour away and they gave me 2 different kinds of flounder and it was nasty and they had over cooked the fish. I will not be going back there.
This is the best food/service you will find !!! We drive 35 minutes to eat there and it has been constantly good for over 10 years
Service was horrible, food took forever, & wasn't what all the big talk was about!

Love this place. Eat here all the time we come from Stanley, NC just to eat here. Never have I been dissatisfied.
If you like your drink refilled. Or your steak cooked correctly. Or waitresses that can remember what you asked for or you dont have 3 hrs to kill. Then dont come to captain steves. This was my first time and it will be my last. Thanks for nothing.
We absolutely love the charm and history of Captain Steve's. The food is always good and the service is great.
It was my fiance and i first time there it the food was outstanding and the service was fast and excellent.....we will be returning
The grilled flounder is amazing. Best seafood ever!!!
