I don't know what happened to this place. I heard the. Cook retired or quit. Too bad he didn't train the new one. So disappointed. The lobster bisque used to be perfect. Now it's watery and does not taste creamy like it used to. We spend quite a bit of time in WH and used to enjoy the Kidd for a nice lunch, but no more. The fried platter was heavy and greasy. We will need to find another go to place. I would not recommend the Captain Kidd anymore.

A great view and a good meal. We started with the chowder and bisque. Both were very good but not great. Too much salt for people that have cut back on salt. The panfried shrimp were excellent, not enough garlic as were the calamari.
I am sorry to say it has gone down hill big time . The food quality is just not there, especially for the price. Working near by (not at an eatery) it seems all I hear are complaints about it as of late. Stick to what you know as you have a great location and nice views but until it gets better (both service and food quality), I'll take my business elsewhere.
Great food for the price, service was great!! We had an infant with us and they were very accommodating.
We ordered the waitresses suggestion for a drink ... " Sea Breeze " LOTS of grapefruit juice and a splash of rum . Gross ! For lunch a cup of chowder for myself and a turkey BLT . I was having the chowder for lunch so I asked for it to come out with the BLT the chowder came out first the BLT never made it to the table. We had a nice table by the ocean. The clam chowder & salmon were excellent.
