Shoutout to Ms. Tabitha and her crew at Captain D’s! I’ve been here twice now, and both times the service has been on point. Everyone’s friendly, quick, and just makes it a great experience. I work over at Walmart, so I know how important good customer service is—and y’all are definitely doing it right. I’m usually running around doing photography or out storm chasing, so I don’t always get a chance to slow down, but this is one of those spots I actually look forward to stopping at now. If Melinda is working i get great service. Food is fresh and hot. However most occasions the fries are luke work and the hushpuppies appear to be twice fried. The fish is hit or miss at best. As a regular if Melinda is working i have great food. It baffles me how they have stayed in business. When your fish is fresh, but fries are luke warm at best and your hushpuppies are over cooked its not a good meal. Even at 7.00 a meal the quality is just not there.
