Me and a couple girlfriends visited another girlfriend that lives there they treat us to this restaurant!!!!!! Wonderful service with a great atmosphere and I'm not an oyster eater But our friends ordered appetizers before our dinner;oyster Rockefeller being one and I absolutely LOVED!!!!!! We got seated right on the water so we had an Amazing sunset to witness with a few planes flying over too!!!!! Not a bad way to end the day!!!!! Thank-you Caps on the Water!!!!!!!
Every year we travel down to St. Augustine on vacation, and every year we HAVE to stop at Caps before we go home. The food and service is always amazing and the ambiance is relaxing. The gator tail is a must try for appetizer and the coconut cake for dessert is soYummmyyyy!! As for a dinner, everything I've tried there has been fresh and delicious. You must stop here to eat!
Arrogance + Attitude on the water should b the name. Vivian (owner of Caps) hate to say it but yr team has failed. You once said "If you’re a restaurant, you’re service. That’s what we tell our staff is that we’re here to serve people. That’s the only reason we’re here, If they don’t, then we failed.” Been going here for over 30+yrs and as a local u know they r busy, u respect it, wait for a table in the bar but last Saturday Carly (waitress) and the bar tender had the worst attitude I have ever seen in the service industry.... read more

Just spent many hours celebrating a friends 50th at Caps! Food was delicious with great care taken to flavour each morsel eaten! Staff were extraordinarily kind looking after the group! This is a fabulous restaurant!
