Had a vibration on way to Canada. Pulled into tom's and they diagnosed problem bad right rear tire. Fixed us right up and got us back I the road. Jim the owner and his wife are great.
Tom and his guys were great. My alternator died when I was four hours away from home and I'm so glad the towing service took me there. They were able to diagnose the issue and get a new alternator in my car for a very reasonable price, and didn't even mind that I brought my kitten into the waiting room with me. Very kind and good at what they do. I wish I lived closer so I could take my car there for everything!
A big thank you to Tom's Tires and service! They did a great job getting my husbands vehicle in right away. Speedy service and very courteous staff!
Tom is awesome and does not take advantage of people especially women. I live in Rockford and will still take my car to him even oil changes. You don't find a place like this very often
I was advised by a shop in DeKalb that my Civic needed a new air conditioner compressor. The entire job would have cost over $700. When I had an an driveshaft issue with my S10 last winter, Tom's Tire Service allowed me to buy the part and did the repair for a reasonable cost. With that in mind, I bought the compressor online and obtained a far more reasonable quote from Tom's than anywhere in DeKalb. We cannot say enough about the guys at Toms Tire Service! On our way from WI to Kentucky we had a tire blowout while hauling horses. Shop owner Jim was our hero - he came out to rescue us and got us back to the shop where his guys replaced the shredded tire and got us back on the road!! We'd give them a 10 star rating if we could!!
Great customer service! Was in the area when my tire light had gone on. Just stopped in and asked if he could check it out. Ended up totalling the tire by driving over a metal pavement spacer.Tom did not have my size tire, so he ordered one and put on a loaner tire. Now that's awesome customer Service!!!!!! Let's here it for local businesses!!!!!!
