Just a half-block off the beaten path (Hwy 19) but a true gem. Outstanding service, food, and quiet enough you can hear each other.
We just ate there for the first time and we left with full happy bellies and no complaints!! The food and service were both stellar!! We will def be back!!

If I could have chose 0 stars I would have. Worst experience with owner and wait staff ever. Burger came out soaked in blood and bun was dripping blood. Ordered medium. Server did not return and did not ask how food was and disappeared after dropping food off. Owner/manager immediately had an additude once I advised her at check out of what happened and the bad attitude of one of her servers. When advised I would llikely not return she said "If you're not going to give me a chance and just judge me" then walked away abruptly... read more
Go there every time we get the chance. Love the Caposey Omelette! Friendly staff and down to earth place to eat.
Caposey's is one of the best diner-style restaurants in Tampa Bay. It's clean, the food is simple but excellent, the service is always top-drawer. We love it for breakfast -- the pancakes are the best anywhere and the Benedicts are great. They do take credit cards but they would rather you pay with cash, and we always check our wallets so we can comply with their wishes.
