Won't do business unless profit > $5k Outright insulting. Avoid at all cost. I went out to buy used car at Capitol Honda. The sales guy wasn't ready to talk about Accords which were below '00, since I had a "low budget" of around $12-13K. As I was about to depart, came the final words: We see lot of people like you who like what we offer and not sure what they want. What. I couldn't believe. he also said couple of other things. Bottomline, avoid this dealership, pretty bad experience. I could see that they want at least $500... read more

Capitol Honda is terrible! I bought a Honda in August of 2009. It was the most awful experience of my life. I had to come back over 4 times to get the deal complete. I would have gone to a different dealership but I was utilizing the Cash for clunkers deal and the inventory at most dealerships was depleted in my price range. Salesperson, finance manager and service department all very rude and pushy! Never again will I buy from Capitol Honda, buyers beware.

Bad service You know how mushroom is grown? They were kept in the dark and given b_shit. The "adviser" gave me a "mushroom" report on what was done to my car. My 2 month old car battery went dead after 1 week of sitting in my garage, they told me nothing was wrong with it and that is just normal.

AWFUL service advisor and service! I have a 2004 Honda Accord and I just had my 30K major service performed. After the service, I checked my coolant level at home and saw that it was below the minimum level line. I called up my "service advisor" Dan Rhodas, who gave me some bogus excuse saying that it was low was because I checked it when my car was cooled down. He told that if I drove it for awhile, the level should go above the minimum mark. But the fact is I checked the coolant level right after I drove the car home from ... read more

Awesome Inventory Capitol Honda has an amazing inventory of Hondas. When I went there to buy my Honda, they showed me almost all classes of cars including the special editions which i could not find elsewhere. They have a big inventory of cars and their prices are very competitive. The Salesman was nice and patient even though his english was BAD. But again this place has some of the best deals of all Honda dealers. PROS: big inventory of cars CONS: bad comm skills of salesman was the only bad thing

Great Honda dealer Even though we ended up buying our car from Toyota because of teh better prices when compared to Civic, but these guys were great in terms of their inventory, service and prices. They tried everything to get us hooked onto Civic but compared to Toyota, Honda was bit more expensive. PROS: Great Inventory and Service CONS: Rates a bit higher

Beware of design flaw to protect AC condensers Google or Yahoo "honda condenser problems" One of the 1st things you will get is a law firm that is investigating many models of Honda going back several years for a design flaw that doesn't protect the condenser coil from every day normal road debri such as small pebbles from construction vehicles and etc. The condenser is easily damaged and a new condenser will set you back around $500 - 700 with no guarantee that it's not going to happen again as soon as you get on a freeway!... read more

Always great service I bought my Honda Odyssey at Anderson Honda in Palo Alto but since I live in the South Bay, I have it serviced at Capitol Honda. The service team is so polite and efficient and a pleasure to deal with. They track my maintenance schedule for me and remind me to get my van in for service whenever needed. The courtesy van service and complimentary car wash are wonderful. They always ask for feedback from their customers.

Horrible sales person and service. (Bad sales rep named Wally) I got my first car here couple of years ago, it was a pretty good experience back then and when it's time for a second car, we decided to come back. But boy, are we totally disappointed! The sales person (Wally) was ok in the beginning, showing us the civic and we test-drived the car. But when we told him we'll need some time to decide, his attitude completely changed. He became very rude, repeatedly trying to insinuate that we're not "serious buyers", which we w... read more
