The sales guy wasn't ready to talk about Accords which were below '00, since I had a "low budget" of around $12-13K. Capitol Honda is terrible! I bought a Honda in August of 2009. It was the most awful experience of my life. I had to come back over 4 times to get the deal complete. I would have gone to a different dealership but I was utilizing the Cash for clunkers deal and the inventory at most dealerships was depleted in my price range. Salesperson, finance manager and service department all very rude and pushy! Never again will I buy from Capitol Honda, buyers beware.
Bad service You know how mushroom is grown? They were kept in the dark and given b_shit. The "adviser" gave me a "mushroom" report on what was done to my car. My 2 month old car battery went dead after 1 week of sitting in my garage, they told me nothing was wrong with it and that is just normal.
Awesome Inventory Capitol Honda has an amazing inventory of Hondas. When I went there to buy my Honda, they showed me almost all classes of cars including the special editions which i could not find elsewhere. They have a big inventory of cars and their prices are very competitive. The Salesman was nice and patient even though his english was BAD. But again this place has some of the best deals of all Honda dealers. PROS: big inventory of cars CONS: bad comm skills of salesman was the only bad thing
Capitol Honda sucks I went there to buy a civic, the sales people tried to screw me on a 06 Acura MDX trade in, when it became apparent that I was going to be "dealing" - they iced me for 20 minutes in the waiting room. When I went out side - the sales guy was smoking a cigarette! When I got in my car to leave he came up and said "whats wrong, you'll never buy a car this way". EXCELLENT SERVICE EXCELLENT SERVICE: I bought a Honda Accord 2011 at Capitol Honda on 9-15-11 the service I received was excellent, I was serviced by a guy named Mat, there was no pressure he was interested in what I was interested in, and he didn't try to sell me something that I wasn't looking for. Great experience with Capitol Honda I just bought a 2011 Honda Pilot from Capitol Honda Internet Sales Director Doug last Saturday. No hassel, no sale pressure, and no problem. The deal was completed in less than 3 hours - this was the first time I bought my car in such a short period. I have got my price and great car. I think the experience told me that we need to deal with higher level manager directly not sales people. Doug is a great guy to deal with. Try it!
Recommend I bought my car here, and bring my cars here for service. They are a big dealership, with a lot of inventory. Of course, car salemans here is as pushy as any other place, but u get a much better selection buying a car here. The service department is good and seem knowledgeable.Also, their service department held a new owners workshop every month for free, even if you buy the car from some where else. Worst experience ever Worst experience ever, price negotiation will make you sick in a mater of few min. I bought my new CR-V 2008 several ours later from another dealership not to mention much cheaper from what they want in Capital. They also pushing overpriced extra accessories including outrages installation charge (they install it without asking future customers on all new vehicles and add em to the total cost) to make a huge profit from something customer donât even need or want right away.
