Update: About a year ago they tried to send me to collections claiming that I never paid my application fee. Thankfully I had receipts and fought it. Their explanation was that their records weren’t correct in their system. I went back and forth and back again just to find out I didn't qualify for an apartment. Meanwhile I was bending over backwards thinking the extra steps they were asking me to take would mean I had the apartment. I found out 5 days before I was supposed to move that I was rejected.
