Went to Capital Seafood on a Saturday evening. The dining room was almost to capacity. The food was fantastic, service was friendly and the portions were adequate. Had the egg drop soup, sweet and sour chicken, lemon chicken, sizzling seafood, pork and shrimp fried rice and lastly, bbq pork tai chow fun. The flavors were unique and nothing went to waste. The lemon chicken stole the show. Two thumbs up.
I was disappointed with the service. I was disappointed with the quality of the dim sum it was quite tasteless. I also ordered the fried rice with beef, tasteless. The only thing that was good was the green beans. Forgive me but I don't pay $40 for green beans. Disappointing.
The food was absolutely excellent! Service was superb and all in all it was absolutely fantastic!
I ordered from the happy hour menu. GREAT PRICES! Wonton skins, chicken and veggie dumplings, stir fried green beans. The beans took the prize! The dim sum can be very good. Today's was mediocre. The bar tender was terrible. Forgot my beverage, never checked back. Apologized numerous times. The waitress that covered for him was great and she saved the day. I'd go again but won't sit at the bar if the same bartender is there. He was truly awful.
