RecommendedI broke my toe in a way that made it impossible to set. I had a bad experience with the first doctor I saw so I went to Dr. John with my toe sticking out at the wrong angle and a lot of foot pain. Dr. John was empathetic and professional. He got me in for surgery the next day even though we're in a pandemic. This review is for Dr. Shrine John Worst person ever! I had several vists with Dr. Shrine John over the course of a couple of months getting some customs orthotics / insoles made. He is an extremely rude person. Everything that I said or suggested about myself, my own subjective experience, was ridiculed by him in an extremely contentious way. First visit was professional. I followed Dr. J. Shine from another practice. Dr. Shine is amazing at his talent, concern, humor and bed side manner! So, this review is more for Dr. Shine than the practice.
First, the front office called me first thing this morning at 8 am and got me an appointment for 10:15 am (is this real life??). I was able to get in, be seen ON TIME, and Dr Walters was PROACTIVE and had surgery scheduled for this same week. I’ve been living with an on and off injured foot for 6 months now. To be listened to and prioritized was almost as healing as this surgery will be.
Dr Mereau and her staff are the BEST! I would highly recommend them and I have! I've gone to her for about 5 years now and had 4 surgeries on my feet for various things. Dr Mereau is knowledgable, friendly, listens, and is truly an expert in her field. Love Natalie! The entire staff makes you feel that you matter and they care.
People. Dr. Walters is a miracle worker. Still in a cast a week post-op but less pain and swelling than I've had in more than a year and a half. Plus his bedside manner is the best. And his nurse is my BFF.
