Went the extra mile. Like family. – I was in a pit of a pinch on the purchase of my new home and I turned to Capital First to help me. The original lender turned me down and I always drive past their offices, so I figured it was worth a shot. I was greeted by a very nice receptionist and I discussed the situation. Wow, I didnt believe it – This company was incredible. I found their information among others online. I worked directly with Jeremy; however, I talked with a few of the other representatives, which were all very knowledgeable. Not only was everyone upfront and honest, they also made me feel like I was their only customers. There services were very hands on and I never waited for an answer to any of my many questions. I was treated well – I found Capital First Home Loans through LendingTree and refinanced my mortgage taking equity out for a home improvement project. My experience with Steve G. was good. He was straightforward with me, provided a good faith estimate to which Capital First held true, but best of all, I liked the fact that I could close in the convenience of my home. Good rates – We worked with Steve to get a mortgage with Capital First for our first home. He took us through the process and explained everything very well. Capital First was definitely the lowest rate we found in the area, and it has stayed that way whenever I've looked around again. The closing costs are a bit higher than other places (like Third Fed), but if you plan to stay in the home for more than a few years, the lower rate came out ahead leaps and bounds even after Third Fed's 'rate match.' Awesome experience – There rates were great, so I was concerned the service might not be as strong. I was very pleasantly surprised. They were open later, and my loan officer even responded to E-mails after hours! Would highly recommend them.Thanks again guys!

Crooks. Very deceptive. Broken promises. Lies. – Watch out for these guys. During the application and underwriting process, Jeremy will lie to you repeatedly... the good faith estimates will be fudged, he will promise you closing cost discounts, he will lie and deceive you. He'll promise you one interest rate, and give you another. Besides this mess, as you review the documents, you'll wonder if a 5th grader put them together... there will be typos galore, signature requests on blank documents, missing discounts on the good ... read more

Dishonest Lender - beware of the value of GFE – My interactions have still not ended so consider this as preliminary review. Carefully understand when the company will lock the rate and make sure that policy works for you. Ask for "Rate Lock Disclosure Form". Amit

Best mortgage loan. Best interest rates around – I shopped around extensively for a mortgage loan and I ended up going with Capital First Home Loans on Pearl road. I am glad I did! The staff there was very professional and helpful. They had fantastic rates and the loan was closed exactly as promised. I refer Steve to all my friends. It is rare these days to find a company that is so straight forward and honest. Thanks again Steve!
