Tried to make an appointment with this doctor, I gave them ALL the necessary insurance information, the office person said she had to call my insurance to verify, never called me back. The next day I called again, they wanted for me to give them my insurance info AGAIN so they can verify; I told them I had already done this and am trying to make an appointment. They put me on hold for a while, I finally hung up. Never even got the chance to get an appointment.

Dr. Mitra was wonderful. She takes time to answer all your questions. She has a wonderful "bedside manner" at the Surgery Center where I had the cataracts in both eyes removed. I always felt like I was heard and understood. It was really helpful to watch her YouTube videos about the various aspects of cataract surgery. She has a delightful staff as well.

Dr. Mitra performed surgery on my eye lids. She explained the how and the why of pre-op, surgery, and post op instructions. She answered all my questions in terms that I understood easily. The surgery was intended to improve my vision, which it did significantly. I recommend her to everyone having this surgery.
