Dr. Murphy is extremely competent in his expertise of dentistry. And beyond that, he is very kind, compassionate,, and communicative. His entire staff is warm and caring, just like Dr. Murphy. They make sure you understand everything and ensure that all your questions will be answered and all your needs will be met. I recommend him and his office.
I had a great experience at Capital City Periodontics and Oral Implantology. As I am a visual person, I was fully contented with the visually-aided description of my periodontal situation. I got excellent service right from the office manager, upto the clinician and the periodontist - Dr. Murphy; in a very professional way. They were willing to vividly explain and address all my questions. I strongly recommend them to anyone with periodental issues.
I'm a new patient to the office. I like their treatment philosophy. They use cutting-edge techniques which are less painful/less invasive. The staff are warm and caring. They have a parking garage, with plenty of spots. I had a very positive experience and will definitely refer family and friends.
Always going to any type of dentist results in anxiety. But from the time I walked into the door till the time I left, I was completely comfortable. More importantly, it's often hard to find professionalism and also have warmth but I certainly found both during my visit!
Dr. Murphy is outstanding, and David the hygienist is terrific. Everyone is extremely personable and have given me the utmost care. On my first visit with them, I was scared and upset at what was happening in my mouth, and with his treatment I am very happy to report that the results are beyond my expectations. Highly recommended!

I recently had gum grafting at Capital City Periodontics. Everyone was so friendly and professional I really appreciated it. Cindy even called me the next day to see how I was doing. David and Dr. Murphy kept me at ease prior to the operation and provided me with all of the information I needed to keep my mouth healing for best results. I was truly nervous going into this, but with all of the staff at Capital City Periodontics I know I made the right choice.
