Dr Burris was very informative and was intuitive towards my concern of my shoulder. He explained what I could help me. I appreciate a doctor who cares about their patient.

Dr. Akhtar was awesome. He knew exactly what was wrong with my hip after a series of other Dr.’s had just said my hip pain was arthritis. Turns out my right hip was bone on bone. He explained all my options and was very thorough and patient answering all of my questions and concerns.

Dr. Akhtar is an amazing surgeon! Day one I was walking with a walker. Day two even walking further. I used Muve hospital/surgical center that has made my recovery very comfortable. Dr. Akhtar has counted my several times a week leading up to the surgery and even contacts me several times a day post op to check in. Be a great Dr. that actually cares for his patients instead of just considering you as a number. Highly recommend him and his staff as well as the staff at Muve.

The most pain was the injection to numb the area and that night after the surgery. Nothing took the ache away, not even the Tylenol 3. I finally went to bed, turned on the TV, propped my wrist in the ... read more

In what universe should out take 36 hours (and counting, still no response) to get a refill on pain medication for a patient that is 4 days post op???? Vanessa, who answers the phone and has assured me for 2 days now that they will call when the prescription is ready for pick up, couldn't care less. It has gone beyond ridiculous. Healing depends on rest and rest requires comfort and in this case comfort, 4 days after surgery, requires pain medication.
