Review Everyone that I have encountered at Capital Area is both friendly and professional. Wait time is minimal and the staff takes their time with each patient. I have and would recommend this practice.
Research other options for ob care! Lengthy hold times for calling for appointments and even lengthier wait times at appointments are part of why my husband and I decided to transfer to another healthcare provider during our 26th week of pregnancy. Their business office needs some work.... The doctors at this office delivered a child for us. They were extremely kind and knowledgable about the entire process. What turned our stomachs was what happened afterward. Due to a error in their business office, a payment was not credited to our account. After many attempts to explain that we had indeed paid off the account, they no longer consider us as one of their patients and refuse to schedule any more appointments. Extraordinary Care and Kindness I was a patient at this practice for two years prior to having my first child. With my first pregnancy, I had a miscarriage at 9 weeks, and it was devastating. The physicians and nurses at the office could not have been more supportive. They took care of me physically and emotionally. They made what could have been a mountain for me and my husband, merely a speed bump. Captial Area OBGYN Great OBGYN office. All Dr.s and nurses are very helpful. Pregnant women see all doctors in the office. I have not run into any doctors that I do not like. Appointments are most always on time. PROS: great dr.s and appointments are kept on time CONS: none
LOVE THIS PRACTICE!!! I have been a patient of Capital Area for over 5 years and absolutely love it!!!. The administrative staff and nurses are very friendly and you dont get that at many practices. I have also had the pleasure of meeting all the doctors throughout my pregnancy and felt comfortable with each one. They were all very knowledgeable and made me feel at home. I would recommend this practice to everyone!
WAY TOO BUSY!!! This practice is way too busy! The office operations are horrible! You can never speak directly to anyone on the phone, and when you leave a message it takes a few days for them to call you back. They encourage you to use their website for questions, etc. but again, it takes days to get a reponse (if you get one at all). The doctors are nice, but rush in and out of the appointment, and never give you any answers. Capital Area Ob & Gyn Assoc is THE WORST! We have chosen this place for our second child and this is one of the worst place we have ever visited. They are not orderly, they do not call back when you need a prescription or they do not like to write prescriptions where you are at their office. They mix up blood tests, they do not do them properly, they are not considerate to the patients Flex Spending accounts.
