Place was larger than I expected. If you can't find a beer you like from their extensive offerings I don't know what to tell you. Food was very good. Plan to return.

Business response:

See you again soon, Brian!

Great restaurant with an outstanding beer selection. Glad I don't live closer as my liver couldn't take it!

Meals were not great at all. Service was horrible. My salmon was very dry, no flavor at all for the mango salsa, the bed of rice the salmon was on was completely cold. They forgot my salad and I had to ask for it, it did not arrive till I was almost done with my dinner. My partner had the jagerschnitzel, his pork was extremely dry, the sauerkraut had no flavor, the German potato salad were just boiled potatoes. If it did not have the gravy, it would have been uneatable. We would not recommend this restaurant at all.

Business response:

Hi Robyn, thank you very much for letting us know about the less than satisfying experience you had. It sounds like you ordered our newest Salmon dish. I am very sad you were not able to enjoy it at it's full potential, as it is one of my favorites! This is definitely not how it should be served. Our Jagershnitzel is also a hit usually, so it is truly a shame you and your partner were not served the best of the best. I do want to let you know that we take our guests' feedback very seriously, and this will be passed on to the... read more

I gave up giving this place chance after chance to improve. When it first opened, the food was decent, but it shortly thereafter became "just bar food". I guess it's fine if you are just looking for a place to hole up and drink beer. But if you're looking for a nice, quality meal, then I would advise to move on. There are many far better local places to eat.

Business response:

Thanks for leaving your feedback Rodney. You are not the only one to mention our traditional bar cuisine, which is why we have recently recruited a new team member, our corporate chef Brian. Brian has worldwide experience in the culinary industry and is actively revising our menu and partnering with local vendors for fresher, seasonal dishes. We recently partnered with Seven Hills Food Company and now serve pasture-raised, antibiotic and hormone free, local Virginia beef. Monday we rolled out two new menu items, Butternut Sq... read more
