Ultra Great Vet Doctors I have a multiple cat family and relocated 14 years ago. I was very unhappy after visiting several vet clinics in the area. They misdiagnosed one of my cats and almost died. I tried Canyon Park Vet Hospital and was extremely satisfied. I have been taking my cats there ever since with multiple visits monthly most times. great people, who take care you your pet I am very impressed with the level of care found here. The staff is very caring and professional. We took my dog in for a minor surgery about a month ago, and had a great experience. The staff really cares about the animals, as well as the owners. They took the time to tell me exactly what was going on, and what my options were. Very good place to take your pets.
Complaint Monica Vaughn is the worst Vet you could ever find she has no feelings crappy attitude and deserves to be sanctioned for her attitude and work by AVMA.

OUTSTANDING !! Since 1991 Canyon Park has been taking care of my pets (to date 5 dogs and 1 cat) since 1991. When it came time to put down one of my dogs on a Saturday near closing time I asked if she could hold off so my Ex could come as well, she was fine with that but as it turned out he had car trouble, she waited patiently for over an hour after closing for him to arrive by cab this is NOT unusual she is that caring and committed to the animals. not a good fit my cat was rescued from an abusive owner and can be hostile at the vet's office. I warned them ahead of time and they were very cheerful, so I was surprised that the vet was so intimidated by my cat that she would barely touch her and left the room in a hurry. It really put me off.
Not a Good Experience I was interested in having my dog's teeth cleaned using the anesthetic free cleaning service offered at Canyon Park Veterinary Hospital. This is a contracted service offered at several locations and I chose Canyon Park because it is located closest my home. I was told I needed to bring my dog in for an evaluation by the Vet to determine if she was a good candidate for this service. Wonderful, Caring Veterinarian Dr. Vaughn was our vet for 14 years - until we moved to Beaverton, Oregon. She and her staff are exemplary, she listened to our concerns, the communication and follow-up were excellent, and the costs were reasonable and options were discussed up front. I always felt we received the best care possible, referrals to the best specialists when necessary, and true compassion when our pets passed. Outstanding care and service My husband and I have used the services of Canyon Park Veterinary Hospital for more than seven years. During the course of that time we had two dogs who received outstanding care from Dr. Monica Vaughn and her staff. One of our dogs had severe medical issues throughout her life while the other was quite healthy for most of his. They both were diagnosed with cancer when they were older.
