I had the best time being pampered by Heather on my wedding day. Not only was she fun to talk to, but she looked at a few pictures of how I wanted my hair and then proceeded to do an even better version than I had imagined! She also did a stunning job with my makeup, keeping it light and natural to complement the boho chic look I wanted. Canvas Beauty Bar was hands down the right choice for my wedding day!
Not for those of us with very thick hair. Tried a number of ladies there and never had a great cut. Just okay and one time even felt like a circus animal due to how thick my hair is.
so thankful for Canvas Beauty Bar. Sierra did my hair and makeup for my wedding and it was absolutely beautiful. The atmosphere was so fun and laid back. I wish I lived in Boone to use them as my regular salon!
Needed a quick refresher for an event and Melissa did such an amazing job and was so nice. She made me feel so comfortable! Definitely my go-to salon for when I'm in school and don't have time to travel home.

Updated review: met with heather the owner, she was sweet and answered all my questions about different forms and why my hair color had faded quickly. Was scheduled for another hair appointment to go a different route to get the desired color. Heather apologized personally, and after speaking with everyone, what happened over the phone seemed to be a fluke on both sides of the call, because all the ladies I talked to today were very sweet and understanding.
