Awesome everything No complaints made great memories
I missed the window to do the survey after my stay at Canopy by Hilton, so I am here to share how wonderful my visit was. I never have issues with Hilton properties and this one did not disappoint. The staff was professional and attentive, the location is perfect (right in the heart of the Wharf), the room was very clean and quite. I live just 12 miles from this hotel, but it's just cost effective to stay overnight when I come to the Wharf. This is now my go-to hotel when I come to DC.
Front desk staff was helpful. I was struck by how much space was available in the entryway and leading into the bedroom—while the bathroom area was quite small. Odd.
I can’t even write about the hotel because I’m too focused on the fact that they gave me the most confusing mess of a receipt I’ve ever seen, and used that to pull the trick of double-charging, to the tune of thousands of dollars on a credit card. The stress of trying to fix the mess they’ve made makes it clear that this hotel is not worth staying at ever again. Unbelievable—I doubt it’s intentional theft or fraud, but incompetence isn’t any better when it causes just as much of a headache.
