My husband and I stayed in the King Studio Suite for 4 nights. The view was great, but the room was in need of a deep cleaning. There were stains & scuffs all over the walls/doors, the floors were dirty, the chairs were dirty, and stains on the couch. We found a hairball in the hallway. House keeping wasn't the best. Along with all the furniture being stained, they tore my nice apple laptop charging cord with their vacuum.
The Canopy staff allowed a patron to stay on the 4th floor with his tiny brown dog. That dog would bark on the way to the elevator. We didn't pay this kind of money to listen to other people's dog. We don't bring our dog to hotels. Because we're smart and decent.
Love this place and always looking forward to coming back!
We stayed four nights over the July 4th weekend and had a corner room with two queen beds overlooking the Potomac River. The location is fantastic, and having a river view certainly made the stay more enjoyable. One of the more memorable parts of our trip was completely unexpected. We had gone to the National Mall for the 250th anniversary celebration but were evacuated due to severe weather.
