The Peace River is an awesome fossil hunting spot too, and if you look and dig a little you'll probably find a shark tooth. Can't wait to go back and Paddle the Peace!
We always have a great time canoeing and camping along the Peace River. Beautiful wildlife- alligators, birds, turtles, and fish. We even saw a Rosette Spoonbill! The canoes are large enough to carry all of the camping gear needed and we recommend the seat cushions and seat backs! The staff is friendly and helpful and the bathrooms at Gardner are clean and nice! Take a trip, you will have a fun time and much needed break from life’s busy schedule.
