I didn't really know what I was getting into when I came here. If I had known at the time I was going it would take my whole day up I wouldn't have gone, but that was really my chaperone's fault I believe. The river was peaceful and beautiful and I saw gators! All in all, I personally didn't really enjoy my time there properly, but that's more my fault. Truth is, it's a great place to spend a few hours with friends or family. Just don't bother the animals, seriously
One of the best activities for a day trip in southwest Florida. It's called the Peace River for a reason!
