RecommendedWe had a lot of fun! This is a great adventure that gets you away from the beach and allows you to see new and different scenery. We saw lots of fish, birds, turtles, and 2 gators (1 in the water and 1 on the beach)!
I so love Outpost-peace River great people and just live spending time there and canoeing down the river is the best R&R anyone could ask for
I highly recommend the canoe trips ! I love how peaceful and relaxing it is when you're going down the river.
we kayaked from Brownsville to Arcadia today.... i was absolutely amazed and disgusted by the amount of peace river outpost canoes being rented to dig in the banks. almost 1/2 the groups we saw in their canoes were digging large holes in banks everywhere. dont believe me, go look. even campers.... not all those digging in banks were in canoe outpost canoes, but the attitude was rude and blatant. we will stick to areas and local outfitters that dont allow or promote that crap.. it absolutely sickened me the way folks were tre... read more

Great place, great people. We did the 19.5 mile Solfo Springs overnight run. Don’t rent the chair backs, use the blue seat cushions. Chair backs are old and give no support. The river was 12” low and difficult to maneuver in parts. Other than that we had a great time.
Nice place to canoe/kayak!
Went on the 5 mile today with our son. Had a wonderful time and saw 10+ alligators, birds, flowers, and more.
