Qhen my daughters and I attender the Oktoberfest in 1993. my youngest, who was only 9 years old, returned to our picnic table holding her platter with a mountain of sauerkrout topped off with a sausage as big as a blimp, in her left hand, and her right hand held a quart size glass mug of dark beer!. Well, we just laughed, I let her take a few sips, then said " das ist gut beer mom!
