Great Memories over the last 25 years attending with my family!! Even living out of state we managed to come every year for 18 years to take our kids. Been to the Demo derby (was a favorite), tractor pulls and seen many bands play there. Love our favorite fair foods.... Hot Apple Dumpling w/ice cream, Gyros, Steak Sandwiches, Lemon & Orange Shake, Cinnamon Rolls! Love the events buildings with Art & Photos & the Flowers!!! And of course...the rides!
You can't beat the entertainment at this fair! The animals, the food, the atmosphere is second to none in all of the years that I have been to this fair!
Wtf? Y'all think this place is Cedar Point with what it cost! Maybe if the Fairboard didn't spent thousands on UNNECESSARY TELEVISION COMMERCIALS!!! HEY, IT'S THE CANFIELD FAIR... EVERYONE IN THE TV COMMERCIAL VIEWING AREA KNOWS ABOUT IT!!!
I drive 2 hours every year to come home. To see the people. Eat the food. But the things I keep buying for the last 3 years...
We love this fair! You have no excuse to go hungry with all the food vendors. Has plenty of animals (my favorite part), antique engines (hubbies favorite) & a good amount of rides with minimal waits for the kids. It can be a bit pricey, but they do have coupons & discounts for rides on certain days. We have been to several of our local area fairs just to be disappointed each year on how the quality of them goes down compared to years passed. Canfield is our annual farewell to summer.

This fair is apart of my family sad to say I'll be missing it for the first time ever.
Been going to this fair now for 34 yrs, even camp out there. Best time in my life. Great place and great friends..
Fantastic Fair For Family and Friends. Food, Four H Projects, Farm Animals, Farm Machines, French Fries, Frozen Banana's, and Cherry Cobbler.
