The fair is nice, however, each year I vow not to return because of the parking. We drove past literally over 100 vacant parking spaces to be directed to the very back corner of the field with my 86 year old mother! Thank God for the tractor ride that we got after walking 2 blocks to get to it. I hate getting tired before we even reach the gate!
The political propaganda crap needs to STOP..! All races take their families to this fair at the end of the year. And for their families and children to have to deal with this bs "WALL" at a place where families frequent is plain disgusting. Whoever decided that this was the proper thing to do is one ignorant ass soul. Me and my family will never spend another dime at the Canfield Fair. And I hope it becomes a trickle down effect.
can anyone tell us if they rent motorized wheelchairs at the fair?
In response to J. Man I was so excited to go bc it's been years, I walked around for 6 hours today (fri) and I noticed alot of the different booths by the same ppl, just different locations yet selling the same thing... and alot of the ppl running the games were Uber rude.. and I got a turkey leg that was undercooked... Idk if I'll go next year...
It is absolutely PATHETIC when a fair that will earn money from a diverse group of people ALLOWS donations to buy bricks to build around Mexico.

I love the Fair!!! The animals, the Arts & Crafts/Photography competition, the horticulture competition, and especially the food vendors! So much to see, that you have to make a trip every day! I love being there until closing time...something about the fair at night, makes it more festive! I miss being there for it every September! Enjoy it for those of us who can't be there!!!!
We go to the fair every year on Friday. My sister comes up from Canton, OH and we get our cinnamon roll then go to the arts & crafts building to see what my crochet entries got. Then we walk around and get fries, lemon shakes, footlong hot dogs and fried cheese with sauce. I can't wait to get there and have a good time.
