I've loved the fair since my days of showing ponies at the Pony Palace. Other area fairs pale in comparison. The one suggestion I would make is to please update the restrooms along the midway inside the fair. Some of them are in poor shape and need a serious remodel.
A fun local tradition to end the summer. Fine Arts, Arts and Crafts, Pony Palace and Hay and Grain Bldg. are my favorites.
Loved the fair and hanging out with the family. First time there but not the last. Awesome experience!
Fair its self was great.. But the drive getting there was a mess from route 224 to 446 to the fair took us 1hour and 15 mins. WHAT A JOKE
In 53 yrs I have only missed one Fair,, and that was the same one my kids missed,, and they are 25,29,& 32,,now starting with the next generation,, my 6 month old granddaughter is with us,, As tradition goes,, we pick one day every year and come from 10 am - 10 pm,, love love love the Canfield Fair.
I haven't been to the fair for 15 years or so. Was looking forward to it.. Will not go back. Although they are very organized as far as traffic getting there and parking, Yes there are lots of animals to see... It just seemed to be all food vendors !! Ive never seen so many and all the food we got ( maybe we were just unlucky) was terrible. Stomboli, not good....sausage sandwich not good...pulled chicken barb. we thru it away, apple dumpling with ice cream, nope not even that.
