RecommendedToday was our first visit here. The staff and the doctor were so nice and very clean environment. Extremely thankful for being able to get an appointment to have our Rottweiler Gia seen the same day we called. Everyone was very welcoming to her hugs and kisses. So happy to have been referred here.
If you are “shopping” for a vet in the area, stop shopping! Canal animal hospital is the best!!! My daughter and I have been coming for years. Dr. Bhutan AND staff are competent and as important SO COMPASSIONATE. I would not go anywhere else.

Sheena and the rest of the staff are great. The vet is a gem as well. The office appears to be super clean and I always recommend Canal Animal Hospital to all of my friends that own pets.
Dr.Jay Butane is an amazing vet . His staff is so wonderful they all have such a caring and loving heart .
The staff is very pet friendly and everyone handles your animal with compassion and professionalism. Any tests are done quickly and the exam comes across as more petting to the animal than an examination.
We recently moved to the West Palm area from Ft. Lauderdale and we need a new local vet for our Sasha. After reading the glowing reviews on Canal it was my husbands first stop. Dr. B. took plenty of time to talk with him about our Belgian and make him feel 100% comfortable. He agrees with the reviews that this is a very friendly and awesome place to take our fur baby to get her care! We found our new vet!!!!😊
I trust the Doc to take good care of our pups. In my experience, he does not over-prescribe/over-medicate, which is important to us. All three of our dogs get VERY EXCITED to go there. The staff are lovely too. I am very happy here and highly recommend Canal Animal Hospital to ALL pet parents.
